Answers:
1. There is no operating system. Why?
Computers sold are not shipped with an operating system unless otherwise specified. Although we do load the systems with an OS and perform a burn-in test on all of the hardware to ensure that it is functioning properly prior to shipment, the operating system is removed after these tests have completed unless it was part of the purchase. top
2. My system won't boot up.
If there is a POST (Power On Self Test) failure please contact our technical support department at 800-690-6771. If there is no operating system please see question #1. top
3. My system won't turn on.
A system that is not responsive to the power button usually indicates a problem with the power supply. Before calling tech support, take a moment to verify the following:
- Make sure that the power cord is properly connected from the back of the tower to a power source.
- Ensure that the monitor is also plugged in to a power source. The monitor and the tower must both be plugged in using separate power cables.
- If your power cables are connected to a power strip, try plugging the computer directly into an outlet.
- The power switch on the back of the computer must be on the negative side of the switch. Sometimes this switch is knocked out of place during shipment.

9. Hard Drive is missing while loading OS
Hard drives are on a RAID Controller which is built on to the motherboard or installed as a SCSI controller. With NT 4.0 and later you must use the RAID controller driver diskettes to install the operating system so you can specify the RAID controller. With Windows 2000, you have to press F6 when the Windows setup first begins to specify the controller. top
